The Santander 2014 bid has won the ISAF selection for the ISAF World Championships in 2014.

We are of course delighted with the decision of the Executive Committee of ISAF in Iceland and want , from this page, congratulate all the 7 bids for their hard competition, their work and excellence , which pushed Santander to incremental hard work and commitment, ultimately to the benefit of sailing worldwide.

The smoke of gunpowder of the starting gun for the 2014 ISAF World Championships has gone with the wind and we wanted to thank so many of you for your very useful advice, support and the time you dedicated to this important and strategic event for ISAF.

We are aware of the formidable responsibility and hard work in the years ahead to produce excellence, a perfect organization and an unforgettable experience for the sailors, audiences, spectators, MNAs, sponsors and the host City of Santander.
